With Barnouw Advies I work as a freelance communications consultant. I have a passion for digital communication, but I prefer it if digital communications are integrated in the total communications policy. I write communication advices, and my focus is on a thorough analysis and creative sollutions.
I’m not just a planner or a generator of ideas, I have ample experience in the practical communicatons field. I have very diverse experience, mainly with:

Internet and intranet
The web is for all organisations an important means of communications, both internally as externally. In 1995 I made my first clicks on the world wide web and started using HTML. Ever since I’ve been building sites for organisations and myself, I’ve redesigned sites, re-organised sites and managed sites. My strong points on internet and intranet are:

Sharepoint
Sharepoint offers companies and interactive website for internal use. You can use it as a regular CMS for your intranet, as a replacement for local network disks, unfortunately then your use would be very limited. Sharepoint can be used to streamline processes and make them more visual, it can connect people, it may be used for virtual co-operation and to structure large amounts of information. I would be very usefull:
- Creating a vision for using Sharepoint in your company
- Functional design and functional management
- Develop processes within Sharepoint
- Building teamsites

When creating a new inter- or intranet or developping an existing site, it’s important that his new sites is perceived well by the wishes of the users. What kind of information do users of your site expect? How can this information be easily accessed? How can you support your internal suppliers of information? What kind of structure and functionality do they need?
